What do I do if I have questions regarding the technology platform that HCA@Home is using?
Please review the “Learn the Software” section of the HCA@Home web page.
If questions remain, please email email@example.com and our team will respond as soon as possible.
What software do we need to use HCA@Home?
The HCA@Home platform uses Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Google Chat for learning. Quickschools remains our school data management system, and our gradebook/report card generator.
Access to all of this software is included in your participation with HCA@Home and no software needs to be purchased by students. Students must use their HCA email accounts in order to participate.
What steps has/will HCA take to clean and disinfect the campuses prior to resumption of normal activities?
During the normal March break period, our facilities team finished a deep cleaning of the tiled floors throughout the facility. All washrooms have been thoroughly cleaned, and all carpeted floors have been steam cleaned. Our maintenance people are completing repairs and upgrades during this unexpected break. Prior to resumption of on-campus activities, a thorough disinfecting program will be completed.
Who can I contact if I have questions regarding one of my students classes?
Questions regarding individual courses should be directed to the teacher of that class.
Will our students complete their current grade and be well prepared for advancing to their next grade in September 2020? Will our graduates be able to graduate?
YES and YES !! (Praise God!)
Will the school day be different from the normal on-campus schedule?
Yes. Each division learning division (Lower Elementary (PP-2), Upper Elementary (3-5), Middle School (6-8) and High School (9-12)) will be operating on new HCA@Home schedules.
These schedules are designed to shorten the learning day, and increase flexibility for parents who are supporting our younger students.
