HCA is excited to partner with the production of The Huron Carole to bring you this special broadcast that will feature HCA students in the opening act! The Huron Carole is a seasonal music tradition spanning more than 3 decades touring from coast to coast. As the world adjusts to the postponement of live events, this renowned concert series “Zooms” to your living room with exceptional quality and creativity. Enjoy this beloved production by the team behind The Huron Carole and Almighty Voices accompanied with HCA’s very own students.

Expect Christmas classics, unique stories, and original music performed by Tom Jackson and award-winning musicians: Tom McKillip, Darryl Havers, John MacArthur Ellis, Kirby Barber, and Chris ‘the wrist’ Nordquist.

Viewing available online via Zoom and only made available by ticket purchase.

  • VIP Tickets: $25
    Limited number of VIP Zoom Reception tickets available where you can join Tom in a pre-show meet and greet at 6:30pm. A zoom link will be sent prior to the meet and greet. This ticket includes one general admission ticket to the show.
  • VIP Family Rate (4 individuals): $85 (Saving of $15)
    Limited number of VIP Zoom Reception tickets available where you can join Tom in a pre-show meet and greet at 6:30pm. A zoom link will be sent prior to the meet and greet. This ticket includes 4 general admission tickets to the show.
  • General Admissions: $15
    The ticket holder will receive a zoom link to view our virtual show plus an optional test viewing Zoom meeting three days before the show to ensure things are set up and running for your virtual show on December 12th.

If additional people will be viewing the show with you, each person will need to purchase a general admission ticket or purchase a Group of 10 or Family of 4 group rate ticket.

  • Family of 4: $50 (Saving of $10)
    For families within the same household who are watching together on one screen. The host of the group will receive a zoom link to view our virtual show plus an optional test viewing Zoom meeting three days before the show to ensure things are set up and running for your virtual show on December 12th.
  • Group of 10: $120 (Saving of $30!)
    For groups of 10 who are watching together on one screen. The host of the group will receive a zoom link to view our virtual show plus an optional test viewing Zoom meeting three days before the show to ensure things are set up and running for your virtual show on December 12th.
FAQ
  1. What if I cannot make the scheduled time?
    Unfortunately we can only broadcast our specific show that includes HCA students at the scheduled time. If you still wish to view the Huron Carole show at another time, https://huroncarole.ca will have a list of hosts/campaigns for other viewings that you can purchase tickets to that may suit your schedule. Please note that tickets purchased to other viewings will not directly support the ministry of HCA.
  2. What if I run into technical difficulties and miss part of the show?
    The show will be run from the Huron Carole production facility that has internet speeds higher than average, with a technician onsite. If there are any technical issue on their end, the production company will re-broadcast our show.HCA will also host a test viewing Zoom meeting three days before the show to ensure that your computer/tablet will be able to view the show on December 12. Please use the same computer/tablet that you will be using on the showday to ensure that the Zoom application is installed and running smoothly on December 12th.
  3. Can I request a refund?
    Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds once tickets have been purchased. Please contact HCA at development@halifaxchristianacademy.ca if you have any issues and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
